PS3: Grand Turismo 5 - The Package

So my son spent up big for this release but came ahead on top.

Grand Turismo 5 Signature Edition rrp $300 but picked it up today at JBHIFI for $230

Logitech Driving Force GT rrp $300 but picked it up from Dick Smith for $138

Grand Turismo 5 Face Plate $50

Very nice setup.

He is still interested in the race car frame but not sure at this point.

I'm not that into racing but he loves the GT series.

Well I managed to put to use an old Nintendo 64 stand which was in the garage. Plastic tubular frame with wooden table section.

It was easily taken apart and then rebuilt, much like an Ikea product, to allow for the pedals and steering wheel to be mounted correctly.

Add to that the arrival of the 55inch TV and the boy is like a pig in mud at the moment earning his licences in game.

I'm making a claim for the 3D bundle today and then fingers crossed it will all arrive in 2 weeks time.

Ancient you're always coming out with the worthy games, definently let us know how this turns out, had a friend do a similar effort fot gt2, but not so good
