Lurking
Default Rock band, Guitar Hero question

I've just started looking into these and would really like to play. It looks like alot of fun and I could recruit the kids into playing with me But it's not cheap! I was wondering .. is the bundles definately the way to go or should I wait for specials. Is Rock band better or should I look more at Guitar Hero. I know most of the GH instruments can be used with RB so that would probably be the best way to go.

Just sort of tossing things around at the moment and would appreciate any advice

We bought the set and used to jam as a family until the son wanted to go to a higher difficulty. Ie more buttons. We could not keep up the wife and I.

Other then that was fun. You can run drums, bass guitar, mic and lead guitar. You can have two bass guitars and two lead guitars but that's a little silly.

It's a lot of fun I think and would make for a good family present.
