Firstly he entered a competition 25 words or less to win two tickets to attend the Official release event on Tuesday night. He won the tickets.

He attended the event with his friend. Was a fully catered event (hot food and alcohol) 2hrs in length and Commando from the Biggest Looser TV show attended to stir up the 300 guests.

On entry everyone was given another ticket to secure 1 of 10 positions in a Killzone 3 playoff for the Helghast Limited Edition version of the game. My son won a position.

In the playoff he admitted when interviewed that he had not played the beta version of the game. One of the other contestants had.

Anyway long story short. He didn't win (the other contestant did) but as a runner up he was given a free Killzone 3 game for the PS3.

Everyone who attended got a set of dog tags and a poster.

Unfortunetly he has not had the time to play due to other commitment but just thought I would share as I thought it was pretty cool.

The game hits the stands tomorrow. Woops. Make that today.

Seriously, pretty cool though, can't go past free food and booze

Just a shame I hear it's a really short campaign and the MP isn't anything amazing. Let us know your thoughts though, I don't trust videogame reviewers anymore, especially with big exclusive titles like this.

The campaing is between 7 and 11 hours, those screenshots what are posted are best time stats of a level that doesn't include deaths, restarts and cut scene's.
