Breezy
Default Overseas Import Game Sites

For the Aussies.

Okay so considering the interest which has been shown towards trying to save a little money on our game purchases I thought I would create a Sticky of peoples favourite purchase websites.

What we consider good value for money could be a combination of the following:

Low Price
PAL version
Free delivery

I will update this thread as people post their websites and we can keep a eye on them to see if they continue the trend of Value for Money.

I'll start it off with:

Ausgamez (thanks to Cadder)

Ozgameshop (thanks to Chief)

Amazon UK (thanks to King_Rocket)

Keep them coming.

I'm surprised at the difference in prices.

Just comparing the last PS3 titles I bought, Shift 2 & Lego Star Wars 3 (no need to go down the recent PSN issues).

The online Game & JB hifi stores have LSW3 for $64-$75, and at the others mentioned in previous posts for around $49 (free shipping).

NFS:S2 - Game & JB $82, others $49-$63.

Do any of you actually shop from these online stores? Are they the real deal or are they a little on the dodgy side? That's alot of saving to be had.

I have bought from cdwow and ozgameshop. All games work as do bonus codes.

No issue playing online. No issue with xbox or ps3 versions. All games sold are PAL unless otherwise stated.

While not a games site, I buy a bucket load of books here, including game guides. Free delivery world wide.

Free delivery worldwide on all books from The Book Depository

For instance: http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/Drag.../9781906064846 I think the same book was $50 or more here. $28.23AUs delivered straight my door

Bought heaps of graphic novels and RPG books cheap here as well.

Shows you cost in your currency which is handy and you can use PayPal.

I've shopped from Ozgameshop before.

Great prices, delivery takes a little long though (they're based in the UK)

I'd also suggest Buy Video Games for Consoles and PC - From Japan, Korea and other Regions - Play-Asia.com

Not all that cheap, but they have a lot of Japanese games that aren't released in the West. They tell you in the write-ups whether it works on PAL or NTSC or if it's region free.

DVDs, Blu-ray Movies, Games, Music & more - Free delivery | Zavvi.com

Just purchased Vanquish from there. Was a lot cheaper than anywhere over here. Not only that they have regular sales and discount codes.

They were when I ordered Vanquish.
I just did another test order for Ip Man and Eagle Eye and got zero pounds for the delivery fee.

Yep, I've bought from Ausgamez and Ozgameshop. No problems with either.
