Dust 514 will be a FPSMMO, meaning it will be a FPS game inside of a MMM world. The way they have been seting up the Character creation for the avatars, and the testing of them walking around, looks really good so far.

The parent game per say is EvE Online, which is PC/Mac based.

DUST 514 put players on the ground in a similar way to a mix between Halo, and the Battlefield games from what I have seen so far. Missions will come both from NPC corporations as well as EvE Players who require ground troops to help protect their assets as well as attack others assetts. EvE is a massive sandbox game and I think Dust will be a great complementary game that brings more people together.
