DUST Merc Pack available on Playstation Store

Hi Guys.. I posted this in our EVE division but wanted to pass it along to everyone. CCP has released a DUST Merc Pack on the Playstation Store for purchase. Admittedly you have to buy it but it does have some cool stuff and an all access Beta Pass.

yeah I can't help but this too They tried to introduce the micro-transaction in EVE and the entire universe when berserk and started a rather fruitless siege of a major trade system.. CCP may have got the point but it looks as though they have found a way to apply it to DUST.. (no real surprises there) I'm still reserving my final judgement however till i see more of the game.. Sometimes if the game is good enough and I'm getting more fun from it than I had expected I often won't mind dropping some coins on shinny toys.. Most of the time I'll just smash through any campaign stuff on harder levels to try and unlock as much as I can first..


Have a read of this if you havent seen it already. Be sure to read down to the very last two lines.. I think that sums it up.

The game's currently in closed beta, and public will be invited in for the first time later this month, on 29th June.

Dust 514 will be free to download from PSN and be free to play. CCP will make money through micro-transactions.

So it's the 29th June in Aus. I assume the game will be open beta from tomorrow US dates.

Saw it listed on the store today - sort of.

$27.95 for Aussies because all videogame devs and publishers are racists. They had a big banner on the front page of the store but when I selected it, it went to an empty screen that said "object not found" or some such.

Think I'll just wait until it's released completely free before I try it.
