The MS wheel works fine for me, yet I don't have a lot of experience with other wheels for XBOX 360. There's Fanatec wheels for a bit more enthusiastic people, but after reading some reports about failing Fanatec wheels, I guess it's a bit like high end hifi, must own at least 3 of those, one in repair, one coming from repair and one going to repair. Can still be very great stuff, not tried even one of those. But looks so damn good I have problems to control my OCD with wheels.
Attached to a table, the MS wheel has taken a lot of punish from other people in a short time, but still works. I personally drive like a zen monk just because I'm so utterly lazy to use more force than is enough, but that does not apply to former truck drivers or kids. Actually this is pretty important thing with wheels, one needs just one kid to see a wheel, and guess what happens. Go and explain he/she can't try it, because it's a limited edition 10000$ Porsche-style wheel, covered with real leather torn from the seats of a real Lamborghini Miura Roadster 1968 ...
Logitech DriveFX should work with XBOX 360 too, yet I don't know anything about it, is a special model needed for XBOX 360 or is it cross console. It's a bit cheaper than the MS Wireless racing wheel. Anyone have it? I don't know, had some experience with Logitech wheels from my previous life, but no idea where they go today with a XBOX 360...
Would be very nice to hear about experiences with other racing wheels, as of course these kind of issues are of the most importance.
