Recommended joypad for Streetfighter HD remix?
I've been getting into some old school SF2 action after grabbing the HD remix from the Marketplace.
The only problem is that the standard XBox 360 controller completely sucks arse for pulling off combos. I'm not so far into it that I want to spend a stack of cash on an arcade stick. Anyone have any suggestions for a good SF2 friendly joypad weighing in at around $50? Linky to an Aus supplier would be lovely too, if I'm not pushing my luck.

OK - I've done some searching. The only thing I've found is some info regarding a DoA4 special which was released:
Dead or Alive 4 Arcade Stick Apparently around $99 and they used to be sold at JB Hifi, although I've never seen one in any store... Other options are mods: DIY: Xbox 360 Wireless Arcade Joystick Hacked Street Fighter joystick for the Xbox 360 Hope this helps...

Well, what a coincidence, I was doing some research because of SF4 (and then those old arcade games too), just some time ago.
I found these: This seemed right for me, yet I could not instantly find where to buy it: http://gear.ign.com/articles/946/946596p1.html Somehow they didn't like this one: IGN: Hori Real Arcade Pro. EX Review These cost a bit, maybe a bit too much (165$-250$), it looks like a professional choice and they say these are custom made: IGN: Arcade in a Box Xbox 360 Arcade Stick The XBOX 360 D-pad is horrible even when playing Oblivion, so I decided if I go for SF4 I should pick up a new controller and maybe that could be great with some other old arcade games too. Well, time will tell what happens, the Mad Catz Fightpad should cost like 40$, and it's not too much  I saw some people complainind the Fightpad D-pad needs more pressure on diagonal than horiz./vert., but is better compared to the 360 original controller D-pad. Well, I actually don't know what are all the games supported with these products, should search later for that info.

As much as it pains me to say it ... fighting games are better on the PS3. The controller is better designed for this style of gaming.
If this is your main style of gaming, get the SONY console. (I hope this won't get me thrown out of XBOX live  )
