Xbox 360 Wireless Headset troubleshooting...
We have pretty much exhausted the online options we can find to figure out why my son can't make himself heard in a game with the wireless headset.
I am the parental controller. We have the gaming profile set to family safe, but in setting up the headset we've opened everything we can find to everyone. The eldest son (18 year old) is currently fighting with the thing. Yes, we've checked for muting and the volume control. When Chimochi ( his current username) tries to join a game we can see that others are talking by the volume symbol next to their names. His name, however, has a speach bubble next to it. I don't know if this has any bearing on the settings or what exactly it means. If anyone has any helpful suggestions we would be most obliged as the frustration levels in this house are climbing daily! |

I have a feeling it may be the family safe option you selected. (unless vice is ok with a wired headset?)
Have you tried using it on another account to see if the headset is faulty?
