PS2 trouble
when reading this thread, you might get the impression that i'm a little 'dissapointed' with sony.
Yesterday I bought a new slimline PS2. I was so excited to be able to play God of War 2 and GTA: San Andreas again. the slimline worked great for about 20 minutes then it started making a buzzing noise  , then later-on it started getting worse .It sounds kinda like a faulty flourescent light, but with a higher and more pure tone that fills the room and penertrates my head. ......i mean it's f@*^#'n irritating!  .my clunky old house brick sized PS2 (probably the first model) didnt make this kind of sound. Has anyone else experienced this with the current slimline model.

I think I can remember that some Disks make noise when running up to speed. The disks vibrate causing the sound but by what your indicating it might be more then that.
Any chance you can take it back for a replacement.?

) and it can also play the GTA's that were released on the old XBOX.
