i found something new in the XMB. in sound settings there's the option to set output to 'multi' which allows me to run audio in both digital and analogue simultaneously.
i dont know if this feature came with the update or not. haven't seen it before

That's excellent information mate. Now I can have the PS3 set up in surround sound and stereo without changing the settings. I have to change settings depending on who is asleep or watching TV in the other room etc.

Thanks maggot

no probs, i like fiddling with audio equipment

to customise your settings, it must be done in a particular order.

first select 'audio output settings' to choose which connection type will have surround.
then select 'audio Multi-Output' to switch Multi on.

NOTE-- whenever you go into the 'audio output settings' it automatically switches the 'audio Multi-Output' to 'off' even though they are found under different headings

Like everything lately you have to pay for it
It's getting out of control
I have heard that companies are leaving things out of game specifically for dlc

It came to the UAE last night. Didn't really have time to go through it. The updates always come at a bad time for me. I just wanted a quick game of COD and had to DL.

Also one of my PS3 controllers is broke. My 3 1/2 year old just said it was an accident. No details, it was just an accident. I think my wife may have put her up to it

I agree. Soon they will just create a bare shell and you will have to pay for every part of the game.

"New DIY FPS!" Gaming of the future!

After purchase of original DIY FPS:

Consumer - Cool new game ... wait where are the weapons?

Developer - You need to buy them as DLC! This way you only get the weapons you want!

Consumer - Ok ... Wait they are like $5 - $10 each!

Developer - Yes but you only have to buy the ones you want!

Consumer - Sigh ... Ok ... I will have a Pistol, and SMG and an Assault rifle

Developer - Thank you for your purchase of $25 ... please remember that all purchases are non-refundable!

Consumer - Ok .. lets get started ... wait my character is standing in a blank room?

Developer - Oh dear consumer, you need to purchase some levels ... but remeber only purchase the levels you want!

Consumer - Damn ... each level is $5 - $10 each! Ok, I will take the first two levels.

Developer - Thank you for your purchase of $20 ... please remember that all purchases are non-refundable!

Consumer - Thank god that over ... lets get started .... hey wait a minute ... where are all the enemies and monsters to fight?

Developer - You may have noticed in the DLC section that you can select exactly the enemies you wish to fight for only a small fee of $5 to $10 per adversary! (Please remeber that all purchases are non-refundable!)

Consumer - JAM IT UP YOUR AR$E!
