I don’t think that will happen. Even now Xbox still doesn’t have the idea to get into Blu ray. Blu ray is required for high Definition games but Wii isn’t into HD gaming yet

Sorry but you don’t need Bluray to play HD games it is a SONY myth for marketing, here is a list of games available on Xbox HD 1080p.
