ok... so you may prepare yourselves for laughing - I'm unashamedly a woman who loves horses, so this was inevitable....



(excuse the skin... for some reason my custom one isn't working, and the minecraft site won't let you upload until they finished fiddling with the servers)

Also, I figured having a runthrough with the Nightmare was in order (it's a special unicorn where if you feed it redstone, it sets the ground (and you, and anything flamable nearby) alight as it runs.



Amazingly, in the 2 runs I did with the nightmare to get this vid (he shied at one of the triple jumps, so I had to redo it lol) I lost only 1 section of wooden fence and 1 wool block in one run, and then half the purple and white fence in the one in this clip... I was surprised actually... since riding it through a forest ends in major deforestation

And while I was at it... this is my stables... I currently have 1 black pegasus, 2 nightmares, 5 unicorns, 5 pegasi, 2 brown horses, 2 black horses and 2 light horses. Just missing a pack horse out of the set


... and no, they aren't named , the signs on the stalls are so I can mark which breed of horse it is and if it can be used for breeding or not [since after they breed once, one of them becomes sterile]. The original idea was to have one section for breeding horses and the other section for sterile ones, but I have too many horses to fit that now, so I've had to put some in the "wrong" spots, so I also use signs, so I don't forget which is which..

A video of me flying around on a pegasus? not very interesting I'd have thought...

I did briefly entertain the idea of making a set of hoops in the sky to fly my mighty steed through.... since it can't jump the normal horse jumps, since jump=fly and they won't touchdown quick enough to jump the next jump...

yeah I had fun flying around on a pegasus last night. My daughter managed to breed a pack horse too. The kids get a big upset when I kill the sterile horses for leather, but hey thats life on a horse stud right?

Interesting to me - we have yet to find a flying horsie, so interested to see one...

hahaha I can't bring myself to kill a sterile unicorn yet (and I only bred the boring horses twice and I'm still keeping them so I can have the full collection [when I finally get a damned pack horse *grumble*])... but I do go around slaying wild horses for leather (much to MiniObsi's horror!)

Hoops are being made.... (only in dirt since I have tons spare and not much else fancy - ideally they should be gold of course, but I don't have anywhere near enough gold, and it would take me forever to collect enough wool to dye it yellow as a substitute - so dirt will have to do [for now at least]) so I'll upload a flying one later
