Default Mine Cart Magazine

How do you make a mine cart magazine?

Where you drop the carts in at the top, and they stack, and you can "boost" a cart from the bottom 1 at a time?

I have tried several times, and it seems all I can get it to do is either, push the 1st cart on to the track, or you have multiple carts inside one another

Hey Snake,
Take a look a Necramars videos on Station building, they've helped me a ton and explain the "pez dispenser" style of cart magazine pretty well. You can find them here

I have a cart mag at nam.valley. Go in the service entrace, go forward 10blocks or so, then right and down. It should be there somewhere.

The only thing might be, is maybe it's been broken with an update if you can't get it to work properly now?

I think i know one way to fix your problem SnakeTails...

Looking at Mad_Hatters design, (Vid 1: YouTube - Hatter's Ultimate Minecraft Subway, Vid 2: YouTube - Hatter's Ultimate Minecraft Subway 2) theres a half-step at the bottom, so the booster only catches the bottom half of the cart.

Nam I'm checking out your station and I can't figure out how it works any more
How do you start it? I can see an exit door, but that means I have to get in to begin with

It's probably missing all the carts and the boosters not running. Im not sure I finished the entrace to get in the cart. But basically, I have the cart fall down onto no track, but have a block behind and one next to the cart. The first fit of track is right in front of the cart that has just fallen out of the mag. The booster then runs past and picks up the new cart.

The problem is that all rail entrances leading in or out of the facility is just 1 block high so you can't actually be in the car when it starts or stops

It only needs to be 1 block high, and it helps filter out the animals. If you want, you can open that up so you can walk in there

Ah I didn't know that, well that's perfectly fine then
Some friendly sign of how to start the whole machinery would be nice though, such as where I'm supposed to go to find the outgoing cart and get it started

Yeah, its still kinda a work in progress.... I was intending to leave the carts running, but when i found out that they contribute to server load, I shut them all down.
