Default Wierd stuff going on in the test SMP server

1) Redstone torches that are part of clock circuits seems to have stopped completely today. They won't restart again even when manually triggered. The torch won't light, even when its input is off. However in other circuits they still seem to work
Even stranger it all worked as it should yesterday and the day before that

2) There is a crazy amount of slimes spawning at some locations. A few days ago I had never seen a slime, today I've seen rooms full of them, and I see it every day on the test server. They never seem to attack though, they just push me around and I can't hurt them either (this goes for both small and larger ones).

Not on the running server, no. I'll try a restart a little later if there's not too many people around.

EDIT: Restarted

I would test it if minecraft.net wasn't down so I could log in...
But unfortunately that isn't the case

Edit: I managed to log in eventually and now it works again.

It happens to me too. This is a client-server desync

What is actually going on is that one slime is being spawned, dying and while the server thinks it is dead-dead, the client thinks it split into X many smaller slimes that you can't interact with (but still push you around).

Disconnecting and reconnecting turned a screen full of slimes into empty space.

More interestingly is that sometimes killing a small slime spawned 2 or 3 bigger slimes and killing a big-big slime made 8 or so tiny slimes, (where "kill" = diamond sword which means there shouldn't have been any slimes spawned).

Yeah I was thinking it might be something like that. When I hit them I see my sword take damage, but nothing happens to them. Then when I disconnect and reconnect again, the sword is back to previous durability, indicating the sword damage was client side only.

Something a little odd today, when I tried logging onto the creative server it said I wasn't on the whitelist... rather odd that indeed.

You tried to access the Test Creative server when I was busy adding the updated Bukkit and mods. As result, the whitelist had been changed so that only I could connect and test it all.

All should be fine for you now, until I install more on the Test Survival server. Then I'll be doing likewise there.

Check http://www.theoldergamers.com/forum/...formation.html
to see if admins are doing anything.
