I was too, don't know if it matters but I play in fullscreen and only started recording after doing so.

in my video I used the texture pack Johnsmith - thought I found this one nice but I didn't like the pack (ie images)

I prefer the Misa's it makes everything very nice.

I use a painterlypack which you can custom tailor to your desires on the website. Although the Dokucraft packs looked nice too.
