Woah prismatic Dragon Batman!

I'm going to suggest it looks like that because he's just testing how the texture is being applied.

Yep, the rainbow dragon helps distinguish which areas of the texture pic match which parts of the dragon. I find these step-by-step progressions of Minecraft elements very interesting. It helps me understand how the mind of Notch works.

So perhaps I might be able to better anticipate what he wants to add next, and why. As DC I need to understand the game from all angles, and Notch's mind is rather multifaceted. Jens is a little easier to understand, because he is the sensible one of the two.

Notch has said that ender dragons are presently invincible, and can tunnel holes through anything they collide with. So he has to work out their weakeness.

Compared to other mobs, the movements are beautiful.

Ohh... shame they can't work out a way to have them not break through stuff, so they can be in the normal world. They look awesome

Probably no problem to have them not demolish the environment as well, only to begin with it's easier to just have them plow through it.
