Structure planner can take some fiddling to get working, but it is worth it in the end

Ahhh I get it now, sorry never read the first post, I found this from another blog I read, my bad Reoh, though my link is better in almost every way but 1!

I didn't include a flashy picture!

After final release would love to work on a globe 80 or so blocks diameter, and it would look spectacular. With a 64 block sky limit it would bury into the ground a bit at the bottom like it landed. Check out 80 diameter on Plots.

Yeah will take quite a while. I'm quite a veteran of endless days of digging, but would likely use some form of cobble generator to save the environment as that many blocks would have a fair impact.

I was on the origional creative server when vonder was doing that dome, that thing was epic, so much glass, so awesome looking, pitty it never got repaired.

I wouldn't mind helping out with something like that again, though i was more thinking like a semisphere that we could then create a garden or something inside.
Or perhaps even an underwater one?

Were you thinking of doing this on creative or survival, more of a challenge to do it on survival :P

More likely on creative, pending admin approval of a site, and a long-term map.

Survival would likely take too many creeper hits and slow the project down.

A semisphere is worth considering...
