Voxel Sphere / Circle

Call me a troublemaker, but I like making circles/spheres in Minecraft. Sure you don't get a smooth edge but the larger they are the more you can appreciate the subtle curves involved. Well a friend of mine pointed me out to a really great website to make plotting these things a LOT easier. Check it out!

Very cool. I have tried to create a few intersecting dome roofs and this will help a lot. Had some disasterous results in the past.

Another planning tool i use is a 7cm grid ruled exercise book. Costs about $1.

Eaheheah yeah, my first attempt (old build) ended up looking more like a cone, so I scrapped the top half and started over just improvising bits. That turned out better but not quite right. This is perfect as it really gets the "corners" of the sphere right, if you know what I mean.

Let's build a massive sphere once we get a longterm server running, maybe early december. I think the odd numbered globes look rounder.

Have you heard of the Vonderdome on our Creative world, constructed by Vonder (and unfortunately griefed).

Does Vonder still play? I would volunteer to help with repairs to the Vonderdome.

The griefing was a long time ago, no I don't think Vonder does play with us anymore and he gave permission to add to the destruction, so it is worse looking that it was originally.

And the suspected griefer is no longer in TOG.
