does this mean it was a bug and you cannnot do it in 9.6??? if so, lets not upgrade, lol

Well how about we wait till the Sunday update, shutdown CreepyCreative then continue World4 as 1.9.7 (or whatever)? That will probably be late Sunday night or Monday morning (Melb. time). I have to have a look at the usual sources to see whether The End and/or the Nether need to be deleted to get the most out of the update.

Just a warning about some of the bugs that they need to fix

• wooden doors don't open except through the use of restone circuits or levers or buttons , ie. like iron doors
• if you "win" the game, you lose all XP

Notch is going to have a busy Sunday before they release the release candidate (hopefully).

hmmm, ok FYI multiplayer 1.9.6 might not be good, especially if we kill the dragon.
