I thinking that Splat should be very worried that DarkDuck was contemplating a creeper farm.....

I'm thinking that we ALL should be worried that DarkDuck was contemplating a creeper farm.

I have been worried about *anyone* making a creeper farm (or an oversized farm of any mob), which is why we have the rule.

Sorontar

ps. Remember that monster mobs despawn anyway. Such farms wouldn't last long, but could still have a devastating effect.

Should I stop creating my wall of creeper dispensers then?

I don't have an issue as long as you build it your place and don't have a problem with me using them and then setting of a pile of creepers in your house

Frontier weather report: I didn't explore very far last night, but the weather at my place is normal. The pine forest just north of spawn (using the new map ordinals) is snowy. Tribble's DNA helix like structure is covered.

The wool regrowth is working great, allowing me to cull my flocks a bit as fewer sheep are now needes to produce wool at the same rate.

Based on observation, it seems that any area where the trees are exclusively pines now receives snow.

Sunday morning, as per usual. Frontier is generated first, then I have had to manually kickstart the Sanctuary rendering.

All you have to do is wait for rain in your area and you will find out whether it will snow or not. As Irimar said, the tendency is for it to snow in pine forests. However, the one in the spawn area in Sanctuary doesn't seem to get snow. Perhaps it is old enough that it would no longer be considered the appropriate biome (I actually suspect it would be ocean if we regenerated Sanctuary).

Sorontar

ps. This means that Frontier now has snow so people just have to find pumpkins and they can set up snowmen 'defences'. However, please be careful that you don't over do it (cf. mob spawn eggs), and don't let them run loose into your neighbour's garden.

Snow men!
Do they melt or despawn?

(In my text pack they are re-skinned to look like clock work automatons - instant workforce!)
