Default Hiring Testificates

As you know I have built a hotel which will include a casino and train station.
I would love to have people manning my cage in the casino and also the ticket booth at the train station, maybe even the concierge desk as well.
Not to forget we need a bartender and maybe even some cleaners, waiters and chef.

As such I thought this would be a great time to discuss hiring (read, getting an admin to spawn some) Testificates on Frontier.
Also as there will be doors, this might cause iron golems to spawn which would mean I would have a security force too.
Although that requires 16 Testificates and 21 doors, but I don't know in which space

I agree it would be good to restock the Testificates next server patch.

The admin team have been discussing how to handle the villages, villagers and golems in the coming update. At the moment, villages are a community resource, and as such are untouchable without community/admin consent. In the future, some slight changes may be made to this policy but things like setting up golem spawners/traps etc are unlikely to be allowed. I will update you on the final policy decisions later.

Admins spawning mobs of any sort is generally not encouraged on Frontier. If it was part of an adventure challenge, then may be, but I'm afraid that the hotel will have to make its own defences. Villagers would also have the danger in the spawn area of overpopulating due to all the buildings in the area and their breeding ability. Each is an AI that the server will require to be maintained.

Particularly given the amount of stuff already at spawn, especially with the planned expansion to the hotel.

Well research I have discovered for a building to be considered a house the "roof" must be within 5 blocks and sunlight has to reach the top of the roof, therefore most of the rooms I want staff in wouldn't be considered houses so it wouldn't trigger a village.
Thus if I can get some villagers via my train line it shouldn't cause them to start breeding and going wild.
But that too would require approval I believe, and wouldn't be done until after the update to 1.2

Villagers have rights too man! They are people! You better pay them fair wage for a fair days work... or you will be hearing from the Minecraft Villagers Union. The MVU doesn't take lightly to having its rights trampled by the man, man.
