Default Minceraft 1.2.5 is out but don't update yet

Minecraft 1.2.5 is now officially released but don't update quite yet. Our servers haven't quite caught up.

But a recommended build Bukkit 1.2.5 has been released, so I will start testing our mods tonight. Hopefully the wait will not take long. I will keep you posted about any planned stoppages for updates, as we will have to convert the data files of the worlds and expand the borders (so jungles can join us). I will also inform you of any rule changes in due time.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop

Since I only play on the TOG servers and only go single player if I need to test a design/redstone I've yet to play anything higher than 1.1 so I'm looking forward to the upgrade

I've been single player only for a long while now, (till yesterday ) 1.2+ rocks

Not looking forward to glitchy server mobs + updated mob AI

Many more deaths coming me thinks

Me too, i thought it would be good building in the mountains until i found out all my buildings would be single level and squashed against the height limit ! Been playing the 1.2 servers and looking orward to jumping back onto TOG.

Yeah, Zombies beat down doors

I find the mobs difficult to fight because they're not where they appear on my screen, if that makes sense. And they glitch through walls ect

The zombie door thing isn't a mod. It's expected behavior with the different difficulty levels.
They bash on wooden doors, and can break them in hard mode for sure, I don't know about normal.

The mob AI is brutal, though - Creepers love to sneak and hide where you can't see them, then they ambush you.
