Default Drop from Inventory Shortcut key?

Heyhey,

Does anyone know if there is a short cut key to hold to drop an entire stack from the inventory screen when clicking on it?

I know if you want to equip something from inventory to the next available spot (1-9) or transfer the entire stack to a chest or back is Shift + Click.

I was wondering rather than having to drag and drop the stack out of your inventory into the "world" (not another spot in your Inventory, Chest or Available slots), is there a short cut key to press and hold so when I click on the stack it just drops it?

The reason I ask is when XP farming there is a stupid amount of Rotten Flesh accumulated and now that the mobs drop rare items I try to throw away as much of the rotten flesh as possible. Just trying to find a quicker way.

Thanks!

I know of no one key solution but there is an alternative to click and drag. Click on the item in your inventory to select it, then exit the inventory. It will chuck the items out of your hands.

KK, I'll just stick with the drag and drop but will try click then close inventory.

Thanks for the advice.

you can use the rotten flesh to breed the dog/wolf things, so at least now some of the flesh has a use

Yeah, I was planning on trying that out later tonight. I've already got a double chest full of rotten flesh, I don't need any more for now.

Clicking on the item then press "E" twice seems to be the quickest way to drop stuff (into a Lava Garbage Chute!), thanks for the tip Sor. I never thought to use that feature in this way.

If you feed rotten flesh to wolfs they should become werewolves
