After many hours searching jungles, I've got 3 cats - one of each type.... and I've bred those to make some duplicates, one of each I have put at spawn.
These cats are not to be killed or moved - they are there only for you to use to breed your cats with!
Unfortunately there is no way to reassign the owner of a cat, so the only way to get a cat is to tame an ocelot... but you can then use your one tamed cat and someone else's cat to make another cat. Once you own 2 cats, you can then make as many more as you like.
So..... If you have tamed one cat of your own (found an ocelot in the jungle, fed it raw fish and it's turned into a cat and follows you), you can bring your cat to spawn, feed your cat and one of my cats a raw fish each, and they will breed.
Unfortunately it seems random as to who the resulting kitten will belong to. Sometimes it will belong to you (the ideal situation), sometimes it belongs to me
We've tried changing which cat gets fed first, and having them sit/stand, and it doesn't seem to help. I have no idea what will happen if I am not online when you breed cats - if the kitten will automatically belong to you, or if it belongs to me what will happen...
However, it does seem to make a difference in what colour cat you get. If one cat is sitting, you'll generally get a kitten of the colour of the standing cat. And if both are standing, you'll usually get the colour of the cat you fed first.
So feel free to try and breed cats using mine. They only breed once every 5 mins, so keep that in mind.
