Minecraft - Pocket Edition Now with Crafting!

The MCPE now has the Minecraft Advanced Touch Technology Interface System (MATTIS), which allows items to be crafted. It also has ducks and cows and the zombies have new AI.

Go to iOS AppStore or Google Play to purchase it.

For those who want to try out a simpler version of the MCPE for free (with no saving and limited blocks), have a look at Minecraft - Pocket Edition Lite (links to US version).

yeah its a big leap forward for pocket minecraft. works pretty smooth on my galaxy tab 10.1

Given the similar function in the upcoming MC XBOX360 edition (released 9th May), it will be interesting whether the crafting for the PC game will ever be changed to something similar. Even though he is only involved at the abstract level now, Notch has said that he likes to make things more mysterious for the PC version, so I doubt they will make the change (see also the hidden features in a recent snapshot).
