One of the casualties of the new world unfortunately. However had we started from scratch with a completely new world you'd have not only the wiped disks/computers - but also no computers at all - so at least you have them

We seem to be getting all the same types of biomes, but the way they generate is often different. Eg where a large grassland was before is still a large grassland, but with a volcano in it. There will be chasms where there weren't before. So it still makes for some interesting exploring.

Yeah I guess, though Irmar said it was only a matter of copying some folder somewhere. But I guess it's possible you've already wiped that folder from the old version.

And good work starting the server on time

I found a Skeleton spawner before the reset and marked a waypoint. I just went back there and it is now a Spider spawner and I was jumped and killed by 5 werewolves.

Thanks again Duck for the use of your jetpack to get my stuff back

Default Teleporting on FTB server

Teleporting is allowed by all players, but right now only admins have the command.

At this stage we are currently limited to Player to Player teleporting, so in chat type in something like this format :

tp pls to <target player>

and one of the friendly admin will send you on your way.

I will simply have to start writing the programs down locally. That way I will always keep a copy.

For those interested I have just found out that if you use R Ctrl + V to paste into computercraft editors without invoking the save/exit/print of the editor. I don't know how this works on the server though (how quickly it can take input), I will check tomorrow. Maybe you have to paste it in smaller chunks.

It's way easier to write it down in notepad and paste into CC anyway.

In lieu of that you can of course still use mystcraft link books (using the linking table to give the appropriate attributes to the book).

I also want to note that any link books created before the server was updated that points INTO spawn city can still safely be used as spawn city is still on the same coordinates. But anything pointing to a location outside or in another world should not be used.
