Well I guess I could help, but I'm a bit against the "let's do something because we can" as opposed to "let's do something because it's needed".

What I HAVE thought of though is another item transport system. While red power is nice it does have some flaws that are hard to get around.

Any idea's are more than welcome & I agree to making something that is needed, however if we are going to be fixing another's mod we will need permission from the original modder first so we can later distribute to fellow toggers etc.

No I was not thinking about fixing RP2, I was thinking about a whole new version of item transport, using opaque lines for lighter server load (ie the items disappear at one end, and reappear in the other without having to render them while moving). This kind of instantaneous transport also allows for more advanced sorting.

We need a piping system that is more user friendly than Tubes yet more server and client friendly than BCPipes. Also an inteligent sorting system that first checks an item is in a barrel and if its the same as whats in their then it will fill it first before moving onto the next barrel.
No idea on the codeing side as its a long long time since I did anything like that. Used to do basic, delphi and a little c+ but thats it.
