Default Has Mojang sent you out-of-date competition emails?

This morning, I got an interesting email from Tobias.Mollstam@gmail.com titled "Mojang Newsletter". It contains text from Mojang blog notices from January right back to October last year (ie. nothing new). Down the bottom of the message, it says
Quote:
You are subscribed to email updates from "Mojang Competitions."
I can't remember subscribing to this and the timing of it is most peculiar. Has anyone else got similar email from Mojang?

And no, this isn't phishing as far as I can see. The content of the header and the email seem legit, though the fact that it is all out-of-date makes me very suspicious, hence this post.

Sorontar

ps. The latest I have ever received an email is 3 months after it was sent, but this was supposedly sent yesterday.

Looking at mojangs site mollstam mentioned something about a newsletter gone rogue.

Also minecraft seems to be under yet another brute force attack.

BTW, the old Mojang Newsletter that used to be on http://mojang.com e-mailed some yesterday. It has gone rogue.

Nathan Adams ‏@Dinnerbone :
@mollstam it also came from your personal email address!

Tobias Mollstam ‏@mollstam :
@Dinnerbone which I haven’t used in since forever, all of this intriguing…
