Anyone here tried making minecraft lets play style videos?

I've been trying for a few weeks, the kids thought I could be a famous youtuber too like other people they see, so I thought I'd make some videos for them.

Have to say, I find it hard work trying to keep the commentary going and play at the same time, often what you're trying to click and what you're saying aren't quite in sync and it really messes you up :)

Anyway, if anyone's done this stuff before let me know some tips. Going to try to keep it up, think I'm improving and it's kinda fun to do, even though I don't have a huge audience, it adds an extra dimension to the game.

Also subsrcibed.

As someone who can't even use voice chat because the sleeping kids are too close to the computer whenever I play, recording vids is right out, so no help here. Someday I will get the shop loft insulated and finished, and then I will set up a rig where I can be as loud as I want.

I watch the Mindcrackers vids a lot when doing chores, as I am now addicted to their UHC stuff. They seem to have a much easier time in the team episodes than the solo ones for reasons that you mention.
