Default Imagine My Surprise

Spawn in new world.

Select a mountain a ways away from spawn point/tower.

Find nice mountaintop and build home.

Lay out walls around farm and level ground.

Plant first crops and gather first livestock and....

BOOM!!!

I turn around and there is a giant redwood fifty feet outside the back wall.

Does this mean I have to move ? Or should I just enjoy the company of the new neighbors?

You really need to be over 150 blocks from spawn point to be away from spawn .. your currently about 20 blocks away from spawn... you may have walked in a circle ><

Well when I built the walls the giant redwood tree wasn't there. I thought that the building I spawned in was going to be it. *sigh*

*edit*

So it appears I can stay per one of the server admins...so I will just make sure there are tea and buscuits...er...food for passing new players. I will set up a small "tea house" near the pond.

I see no problem with you staying where you are. Just be aware that you may have moved in to a "high traffic" area.
