Default Redstone Help

Hey Guys need alittle Redstone help

below is basically the circuit I need, though it does not work.

So hopefully using 1 input, (bottom lever) it wil lactivate the sticky piston first pushing a block over the top piston, then after a short delay the piston will push that block up.

then on deactivating the revers will occure
top piston drop
then sticky piston retract.

So any one know if this can work, I have fiddled with memory ciruits but can't get it to work.

I am a little unclear where all your pistons are from your circuit diagram.
Are you saying a sticky piston pushes a block onto the top of another piston, which then lifts the block vertically? If so, why is the first one a sticky piston?

Also, any problems you are having may be related to the fact that you can't retract a sticky piston if it is pushing an extended piston (according to Sticky Piston - Minecraft Wiki Pistons and my own experimentation).

Is this somewhere on one of our multiplayer maps? in that case I could come by and take a look at it

well actually it uses 2 sticky pistoms, something I have changed since my post.

if you teleport to my home (It is public) you will TP to the base of the stairs, up the top of the stairs you will see an opening that is where the action happens.

The lever to your left will turn off the lava (which has been isolated so it is not falling/shutting off atm I died while working a few times so felt that it was best to turn that off)

there is an internal lever, I will hook that up to a nor switch later, like I have with my door at the end of the tunnel. That way you can flick the internal or internal switches to activate the door (will change everything to buttons eventually).

So please do swing by, and fiddle with the bloody thing, there is a few torches (redstone) in the chest with redstone etc.

Currently it works on the set up ie you flick the switch, lava turned off, the delay prevents lava flow over, the stiars gets extended, then pushed up.

it's just not working in reverse unless you manually use a redstone torch.

now while your there, swing by my nether portal (located in the basement of my giant spire, passage at the end of the tree farm) and check out hte temple of tog, lol

1. You have not said which server it's on, I assume creative as there are apparently warps there?
2. You have not said what the warp is actually called, I can't read minds you know
Edit: yet...

I suspect that he has made his /home setting public so anyone can go /home darkduck. Admins can do this by default. He has been playing on Survival.

Sorontar
ps. /tp thinks your bed is your home. /home is a separate setting.

From what I can see it should work, have you tried it?

No memory cell is needed.

sadly yes, and while it puts the block into position correctly it does not remove it correctly, sadly I need to somehow delay the retracting of it otherwise the lave will just flow over the steps, though I might be able to just redesign it totally, lol
