Why not that seems awsome

Nah, I guess it could be a bit misused

looks like fun.

Watching the effect, ocean block are definitely not finite since placing one block essentially reset his sea level up to that height. The pipes were cool though

Yes being able to pump water opens up a load of possibilities.

Needless to say, you won't be seeing this on the TOG server.
What he didn't mention is that he used Console/Ops powers to give himself those blocks, so you presumably can't pickup the infinite ocean source and move it around normally. (Like the fire block or leaf blocks.)

It could be interesting in a total-conversion-mod where you use coral from reefs instead of wood from trees and the game becomes a struggle against the water

The ocean floods outwards much too quickly though. The cavern he flooded (and presumably every cavern linked to it from the surface to the bedrock :S) in under a minute? And if it is propagated ocean blocks you'd literally have to fill it in with sand and re-excavate it

I'm just thinking about the leaks that happened when we built spawn station
If we would have had this mod then, instead of a few tracks being destroyed the whole damn thing would have been utterly wiped out at the first leak

You wouldn't have just lost the spawn station, everything connected to the rail network would have been underwater up to sealevel

Anyone getting flash backs to "Water World"?
(Or perhaps this is what really happened to Atlantis?)
