Now I've more or less finished.... some pics...

I don't like the tower though, the glass looks like scaffolding....

(Inside the top of my tower)

(Inside the "throne room")

well... it's not often you get to build with something you're named after... and is purple...

It's not a very practical building block though... it's a PITA if you decide you want to move something (eg I decided after building that top floor/throneroom bit [which I already had to remake once] that it should be twice as deep to look better, but that would involve a lot of block removal! [or simply adding another room on behind it - which I am contemplating....]) ... and building with it at night - against the night sky is annoying...

BTW - as you can see in the shot of my tree-garden part.... I've marked out my "Estate" with some obsidian topped torch things... but essentially I'm taking from the road I made around the bay, and butting up against Foxman's territory.

Feel free to move North & East into that little valley area Obsi, the only thing I have planned for there is a road around the edge of the Western slopes and perhaps a couple of small buildings near the foot of the gate.

So if you want a bit more space go for gold.

As for the castle though...I think it's fantastic. Hell of a lot of effort and thought gone into it

I don't so much really need any extra space - I just don't want someone plonking a house (or mine or towering umbrella) in my backyard By claiming the land I'm just trying to keep out the riff-raff

I think for my next endeavour I want to find a nice cliff and build a house that pokes out from there... So I'll have to go off exploring for a suitable location.

I thought I'd add some more pics of my stuff...

I now have a cool swirly doorway to my castle (until Hell is turned on and it'll take you somewhere else instead)

For those who don't know, I set up the general store and community garden in spawn... if you have anything you want to give away to others, you can put it in the chests in there and you can harvest the crops if you need them (please replant the wheat seeds and take only the top layers of reeds)

I also have obsi.mountain which is a mountain I've hollowed bits out of. (I tried to leave the outside of the mountain intact as I found it, just adding some windows in )

Library (and indoor garden)

complete with pool

obsi.slide is a waterslide running pretty much from top of the world to the bottom...

weeeeeee!

It goes underwater

....into a lava cave

and my newly finished obsi.ship

Bunks for the crew

Captain's deck

So I'd like to lay claim to the area around my mountain
