Default Minerduck - The Main Entrance

My home has undergone 2 major "moves" and of course the Nether.

so the major home, Complete thanks to Daed.

the entrance, the lava door is a site to behold, especially for creepers, hehehe

On the other side you enter the passage of flame, I was going to booby trap this but have changed my mind.

then you enter eclectic central, the Main floor of the courtyard is roof of my 2 level mob trap, the wall at the end was originally for a fortification but the whole place grew.

towards the rear of this mess is my Temple of light my first properly planned building using Minecraft Structure planner

From there I created the Skytower, once again planned using MSP however about halfway onwards I just winged it.

(inside shot)

Feel free to swing on by I shall be moving my home warp to a nice stable secure spot shortly.

(will update when I have done it)

because Daed, while assisting me had some life threatening issues (/home minerduck killed him)

I have moved this to somewhere nice and safe, it is specifically designed for the preservation of my visitors. the cacti are designed to slay Creepers and other critters with a total lack of mercy to them and their souls.

It was not the mobs that killed me but the drop into the earth and the following suffocation
I think the home-location was made before the ground under it was increased, resulting in a fall/suffocation to death.

Try disconnecting before you die. When reconnect, it should you place you safely on top of everything.

I tried that, believe me, and I managed to survive the first time, with 2 hearts left. The next time I wasn't so lucky, I still survived the initial suffocation and disconnected with one heart left. But when I logged in again, I started with a heavy drop and naturally died when I hit the ground instead.

After that I tried to quickly jump there again to pick up the stuff (I had no idea where the place was on the map so the warp was all I had) but I had to wait for the damn 300 sec timeout. When I finally could use it again I immediately suffocated again, and with no armor I couldn't disconnect in time, result: another 300 sec timeout, and all stuff gone permanently.

After this I simply looked at where minerducks portal was on the main map, divided it by 8, and by trial and error located those coordinates in the nether. Then finally I could safely get there through the gate, but it was not easy to negotiate the tunnels down there, we really need some sort of map of all the tunnels on the survival server

pfft it's easy all you need to do is

left left left right left right right 1st passage left up the stairs right errr, now is it hte 32nd or 48th left, errr, just wait, go back to the last left and take it right, or is it straight then left left right or right left right, if you get to the lava you have gone too far!

it would be good to have a map, after all the tunnels are a rabbits warren
