Sierpinksi Triangle
I am using a writing method in a workshop I am lecturing in called: The Fractal Method.
I am using this video in the class to show what a fractal is...kinda. |
Lol. I am yet to find a way to use Minecraft directly in any of my classes. It has got a mention in terms of "Agile" development methodology, but I haven't directly ran the program.

THere is so much out there!
I have a dozen links somewhere I sent to the math and social science department. For my writing classes, it is a similar process to webbing? or the other other hundred names out there for a brainstorming technique. I will post the entire thing when I have it finished. I will also add those links I sent to the other teachers here (when I find them): http://www.edutopia.org/blog/minecra...-andrew-miller http://minecraftedu.com/ http://www.massivelyminecraft.org/ |
My problem is that I have been teaching things like project management, knowledge management and information retrieval. None of those are particularly Minecrafty, but I can relate to how Mojang operates in some of them.

If anything....its a fun diversion. Project management should be an easy crossover. I did this Lego thing with my students a few years back. 1 was the suplier, one was the architect, and one was the builder. The team to build the best version of the school won. Teaches team building and responsibility.
