Default Sea Life a plenty!

Sea life seems to love this bay. Dolphins kept spawning after this was taken.

With the new minimap and radar you can see that its out of control Wonder how much these mo creatures hurt the server cause i know my place gets very laggy after ive been online for a bit and they spawn up like this. Wish i could disable it on my end cause the mod kills my fun
Oh and the other side of my island is exactly the same way just cant fit it all on my minimap.

Fish are the most common creatures in the Mo Creature's config. That may be contributing, but there are also limits on how many animals are in the world/chunks. That should be smoothing things out.

I get ALOT of dolphins and rays at my place and I understand there are limits to how many can spawn but they still do cause some massive lag. Just ask akira who died at my place tonight against a dolphin due to the lag lol.

Yer I get heaps at my place and out in the bay, what iv been thinking is the spawning is per chunk but after they swim out ofthe chunk they spawn more, I'v found places where swimers can't get out of cause there is like a rip and they end up all stuck in there mean time more swimers ar spawning in close by chunks and joining them till I come along and fix the rip, I also found a hole in the bay wall that had water flowing down in to it and in about 5 block space there was like 12+ fish till I blocked the water off from getting in and killed them all

Aveege and Tourok, can you let me know how it is tomorrow (after a restart).

I nerfed Dolphins and Rays right down.

Sorry for the lag, hope it improves dramatically overnight.

Wouldn't it be better to reduce the total amount of MO creatures instead? If you reduce the fishes, all that will result in is more land animals somewhere else instead (as the total amount will be the same).

but if you reduce the sea life you will reduce the amount of squid etc, what Henri is doing is trying to balance the generation.
