Fury Closed Beta

Hi all,

I've been chatting with the Community Manager for Fury via email since I submitted a beta application and indicated that I was a Togger. He seems to be interested in having TOG in their beta. I'm trying to get us some keys and when I do I will post an announcement for those that wish to help them beta.

Unreal tournament meets rpg,this could be alot of fun.
But it if your looking for an mmo its not,its played like a regular fps on maps.
Not worth a monthly fee though,if UT en GW are free why pay for this.

Wow, this game seems to be all about smashing buttons as fast as you can. I dunno, I'm not terribly impressed with it. The first taste of battle was just chaos with 4 or 5 people running around like chickens with their heads cut off, spamming attacks and abilities. Maybe it'd be a bit more fun in team battles, but that just seemed like mindless button smashing chaos to me.

The music was pretty cool but I didn't care much for the graphics. With everything set to high it looked like a game from the past rather than graphics of today.

Another thing I found annoying was how big and sprawling a couple of the non-pvp instances were. I dunno, I'll have to play around a bit more to get a better feel, but so far I really didn't care much for Fury.
