Confused
Default Urban Dead

Sorry, I looked for the terms in our search engine and could not find this mentioned in our forums.

Does anyone play the game Urban Dead? It's a free web-based MMORPG at

http://www.urbandead.com

It comes with a Wiki

http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Main_Page

and various player support sites like maps

Urban Dead - Suburbs

browser accessories:

mozdev.org - udtoolbar: index

forums:

The PKer Hub

etc.

Basically, you start with a human (choose from military, civilian, and science classes, each with particular advantages or talents) or a zombie (which won't die). What's interesting is that if you die, you turn into a zombie, but you can be revived by a scientist (you can make a request in one player support site).

You search various places for things like weapons, ammo, first-aid kits, radios, etc., read a log of events that may give you locations of human groups or zombies (like flares used by scouts or radio transmissions), and look for various signs, like graffiti. You can work with 50 action points until you have to log off (preferably in a barricaded place) and regain an AP every thirty minutes, but you can create more characters for free and play them (just don't use them against your other characters; otherwise, the admins will disable your characters).

There's no means to delete characters, but if you don't play for five days, then your character remains hidden in the game such that human players or zombies won't see it, so it's as good as deleted, except that you can still log in anytime to play it.

If we get more players, maybe we can form a TOG group.
