Default Looking for Fantasy MMORPG

I've been playing WoW for two and a half years now. Yes, I am finally getting bored with it. What other fantasy-themed MMORPG is good? Preferably one where at least some of the players are out of high school.

I'm a widow with kids in high school and would like to hang out with some more mature gamers.

Silverose, we have members playing in pretty much every MMO you can think of. If you are 25+, check out this post in the Barracks (LINK), become a member and you'll be given access to the private forums where you can check it out.

Have a nice day!

Everquest 2 is your best option. Mature community, tough mind you this aint Wow; game is way more complex but has some positive aspects like mastercrafted gear can get you out of the "raid or die" mentality.

Ultima Online could also work for you. There are kids in every game these days, but in UO the playerbase is a bit older than in Wow. UO is great for those of us who do not have hours on end to spend, but still would want to feel like we "do something" when we play. Great variety and a plethora of player choices.

UO? Gosh! I haven't heard anyone mention UO in a very long time. I didn't realize it still existed.

Yeah I know, most people don`t - but it`s still alive and kicking 10 years after the initial launch Of course, the player base is nothing compared to Wow but it still has ca 150K subscribers. It`s even going trough a revitalization with a new client coming up with a new expansion. There was a long thread made on this board here.

It`s a shame really that so few players know about it, as it has so much to offer for us more mature gamers, the player choices and variety, casual friendly etc. But that is due to the non existant marketing made by EA in the past I think. It`s my quest to make it more known, at least in this forum

If you really wanna explore your options visit MMORPG.com. Although, Vanguard is a decent game now then what it was 2-4 weeks ago and we got a decent TOG presence in that game. At one point TOG was the third largest guild in the entire game between all the servers. Of course it's not that now but still a good size.

Shadow of Legend I would say. Though it's still in beta testing, the idea of first mobile MMORPG is anyhow impressive. The graphics are of the same quality as the PC version. You can go to Gamespot or Gamershell to check it out.
