Perfect World Official English Server is in Beta
Perfect World is in beta now and all you need to do is sign up, and download the client. I started yesterday out of curiousity and boredom and find it's a pretty cool MMO. The graphics are fine and should look good on about any decent system.
The game has crafting, and the items made have your name on them and are superior to drops by far. The game also has flight right from level one. Pets, flighing mounts, customizable equipment, harvesting and pvp. It's been fun so far and there are alot of people playing. This is beta so after the servers will be down for a week. The game is supposed to be free 2 play. It's alot better than other f2p games I've checke

I played around with the chinese version with an english patch and I liked what I saw. I'm currently d/l the english version via bittorrent and hope to be up and running by the weekend. I'll definitely be keeping this one on the hard drive for a while and i'd happily recommend it. See you online.

I've been playing the chinese version with the english patch as well, though I'll probably stay there for a while longer since a few friends of mine are. They're going to be wiping characters on the english server every fortnight apparently, plus it's supposed to be a bit unstable at the moment, though I don't know if there's any truth to that.

As far as i know there are not going to be any wipes, they promised after the closed beta that they would stop wiping characters hooray!

A : No, your open beta chars will be your definitive ones (unless you delete them yourself) I haven't found any probs with the game itself, there is a button top left of the screen which can be clicked in case of lag problems in cities for example. I love this game, great scenery, classes and the oriental themes make it different. If anyone plays on the Heavens Tear server say hi, my main is called Hexissa.
