I had it as a text game on my C64. It'ld make a kick ass MMORPG.

Graphics to do the Grue would be pretty simple.

I remember it, and it goes to show that tension doesn't always need fancy graphics and sound. It was a good game for the C64, although I don't think it had that much of storyline compared to some of the ones coming out now.

i hadn't heard anyone else talk about zork for years, i still have em all, text and graphical, play em from time to time for nostalgia, they were imho some of the greatest thought out text adventures of their time.
