Played it for bit in the past, but it got quite boring quite fast, you could only grind this and this at this level then move to these grindables at this level (like everyone else really) or get boost grinded by your bigger mateys at these and these mobs (like everyone else). Not sure how much it has gotten bigger but it was too limited and didnt have anything "new" in anyway compared to any mmorpg I've tried or played. All old stuff done as free-to-grind way.

With good friends it was decent pass time for a while but had only two of those really and they played totally different time so switched to Rappelz grindage (as the pet thinggy there is quite neat for a free game).

If you're into hours of grinding then this is your game (it does have item creation but back when I played it was only for the high ups really since with lowlevel you didnt have points to spent on item creation as the items you could make were useless vendor food at best)

VCO is a good freebie mate - no grinding, just chopping, mining and pirate killin'
Doesn't sound too good - might give it a look

Heh I've played my share of the VCO liked and didn't like it, dunno I'm more of the adventurer kinda dude who burns/electrocutes/slashes/smashes his way through them damn maneater tribals whom are blocking his runaway from the silly dragon or giant he accidentally found in his resent wanderings.

VCO has loads to offer but I like to play Sid Meyer's marvelous pirates when I want to rig my ship for battle. I guess it had too many sides for me to experience in. Got me for few months worth of playing time.

These days I only grind and chat with the few odd nice people I've found in rappelz while waiting that dang AoC to launch (next week might even get me a new gaming rig that might be able to run it too... and send a new beta application). If Rappelz fails me probably will just busy myself with trying to be a good husband/father-to-be... oh and father-in-law to be also =S. Untill I'll raise the ToNG-wifey aggro to all new levels with AoC or someother soon to be released MMORPG.

My waife and I used to play Conquer Online before they introduced the lottery system.

This game sounds pretty close to that.

We will give it a try. Downloading the client now.

The game looks intresting, I am downloading the client now. The enhanced play stuff is junk though. Its one of those complete these offers and buy the products to recive your stuff type things. Much like the Free XBox, Playstation and Will adds that you see all the time.

Well been tinkering with this game a bit now.The lack of a keyboard control with wsad is killing me. I am not used to point and click only games. other than that I have to say its very amusing for a free play game. Its no Guild Wars though. Thanks for turning me on to it.
