Perfect World

I played it for a short time. It's a solid MMO, but having just come from Vanguard I was burnt on the fantasy type setting.

It looks great, Im just downloading the client now, should be done in say....about 2 weeks, Lol upgrading my internet connection next month.
SO is it worth it, I got so bored of grinding for ugly armour in WOW so the costume ability sounds good.

From what I've seen in the game so far I think its a nice change of pace. After burning out on WoW with my guild's demise I couldn't take much more grinding on gear so I could look like every other Class that had done said raids. That's not to say this game doesn't have its own share of problems (sometimes those quest descriptions lie or aren't helpful), but its been entertaining and I can't argue with the price of free aside from if I choose to touch the item shop eventually.

Tried it too
I tried Perfect World but I got lost in the first town and couldn't find the needed NPC .( I'm not the cleverest gamer in the world
 )I like the graphics, and it was rather fun for the time I was on it. I may go back and try it again, especially if there are any walkthroughs to follow now. I played Rapellz for a while, but it has open PKing which I hate. My character was PKed within 5 seconds after I left the safe zone. Also it makes your computer screen go very strange ( weird colours and the icons the wrong size) when you leave the game. Someone told me that can cause problems with your graphics card, so I don't play it anymore. I played a new game called Shaiya just recently ( beta test) and I'm now waiting for the open beta to start (should be this week). It shows promise and may be the best of the free games. We will see
