What MMORPG are people playing ATM?

I want to get back into playing MMO again. I have accounts for quite a few games but would be happy to get another if there is a good TOG community on one I havnt tried. I do HEAPS of gaming so if anyones guild/clan wants a new pleb in its ranks let me know. I just ask that its active and does group work.

EQII is still very busy. The new expansion just came out, so a lot of people are giving it a try for the first time, or coming back after long absences.
That means you can get groups at any level. The current expansion also gives all previous expansions and adventure packs in one purchase.

Hellgate: London, although not really a full MMORPG is also fairly busy with TOG at the moment. It was very, very buggy at release, but pretty stable now (and has no monthly fees).

Playing hellgate now...fast, fun, addictive and you dont need to subscribe. The last patches have made a big difference and the game is going to be adding a lot of cool stuff here at the beginning of the year.

We have ten regular pirate players in VCO (Voyage Century Online)mate - a few forums further down as well.
As GL I organise monthly raids against monsters, battleships, mummies and stuff. We got a TS server for our use.We are not PvP either and the game is free to play.

Lineage 2. New expansion releases today or later this week. Largest one yet with huge changes. The newbie towns will be full once more with even some honest to goodness real players, not just bots.

Game is not free. PvP and ganking not uncommon. Korean grind game with less of a grind now, but still not for the really casual player. Clan supports and helps newcomers, but TBH, very few people stick unless they are already able to live with grind and click with the group. We have a strong, active clan, started by a TOGgers, and majority TOG members but is no longer TOG (for various reasons).

I'm playing Guild Wars and love it. The problem now is, many in the guild have grown tired of it and are leaving for other places, or are just farming etc. Those of us who are still going through the game, are finding it hard to get anyone to team up with. Also there are not many Aussies playing it any more so that makes it more difficult.
I am looking for another game to play now. I beta tested a new free one called Shaiya and am just waiting for the open beta to start. It's not bad, certainly shows promise, and I like the fact that it is new. Everyone will be starting at the same time, so hopefully I will make a group of friends that I can go through the game with. It's playing with other that make a game fun. I hate playing alone, that's why I choose MMORPGs over single player games.

Tabula Rasa is where I'm at.

I'm finding the Sci-Fi setting and MMO/FPS cross really refreshing in a sea of elf/dwarf incarnations.

Someone on another board I frequent compares it to a Sci-Fi Guild Wars. Don't know how true that is because I've never played Guild Wars, but Tabula Rasa rocks and I'll be playing it for a long time.
