I too, have been looking forword to Stargate Worlds, and hope that Tog is active in the game from the veary beginning. if anyone knows of an upcomming Guild for Stargate please let me know!!!!

Hi Guys,
In my case i hope "Age" will mean something for forum registration and beta selection. Since i had registered to the beta forum community a year ago. The thing was i had never posted a thread. So now i posted a simple intro thread and login a few moments at a time to appear active.

My money is on popularity contest. I'm sure that the developers will pick names they recognize and/or people they already know. If the game is due out in the fall shouldn't Beta testing be well underway by now? There has to be time to fix the problem that the testers find if they are planning on releasing a quality product.

They're almost certainly in closed beta right now, with some of the 'regulars' invited from the forums I imagine. That's how it usually works. Applications for the public will open over the next couple of months with no preference given for early join dates or post counts.
But like I said, there's always the chance of those private invites before public application begin for those of us active on the forums. And I'm rather active over there.
