Anarchy Online free play extended into 2006

No its free. I have been playing for a couple of weeks now. I don't know a lot about MMORPGs, but it seems pretty fun. Lots of people on, tons of stuff to do, and its free! I do notice you dont get access to everything with just the vanilla AO, but there seems to be enough to keep busy for several months. I haven't felt like I have missed anything yet. 1 tip Muppet, stay in the nooby area as long as possible, and grab the nooby armor and nanos from the merchants on the island (ask others for help to find them)

im downloading this one now, i used to have a ccount way back when, and even upgraded to shadowlands not long before i joined TOG, who knows, i may even open my old account again, i just need the software, as i lost my discs some where.

Col I was a bit dissapointed with AO, what I mean to say my first MMORPG I ever played was KnightOnline, seemed OK, then I got signed up to WoW beta was a little more impressed then I signed up for the Guild Wars beta and was totally BLOWN AWAY
 .. But after playing GW I can't get into the other games now, they just seem way to inferior  , spent a few hours playing AO and the controls seem difficult to get used to...Oh well just keep waiting for me GW to be released  , waiting , waiting , waiting.....

I agree, the interface is pretty bad. Apparently it is an upgrade even. Might have to check out some of the other offerings out there. With the SOE all access pass adding SWG, its looking pretty tempting.
Is GW the one being made by ex blizzard employees?

this has been good to me so far, i am enjoying it so far. its not a game to pick up on right away, its something you have to learn, and keep on learning. the game is so big they have bots to answer questions for you.
/tell helpbot she tells you all the help topics etc... /tell recipebot learn all the craft recipes and what items are used for the music is decent, i havent turned it off yet, i find it kinda relaxing. yeh the interface is a bit odd compared to most games, and the graphics are showing their age, but its FREE. just my price, it will hold me untill i find something else to play with.
