Downloaded and jumped in last night.
I went for a bit of a wander and managed to walk off the edge off the map.
My character is now in a continual free-fall with the land close by one side and the pixel never never on the other.

Haha how strange! I haven't seen THAT before. Maybe a GM can help you if you report the bug...

is there a kill key? so that you can bring up the respawn menu?

hmm not that I am aware of, you could try /stuck

Other then that I would either submit a bug so that it can be fixed and your toon returned, or simply roll a new toon. If you only downloaded last night I wouldnt imagine you leveled very far?

Yea, I will try that when I get home tonight.
I was actually trying to see if there was somewhere to get off the map....

I had left the city in the start zone and veered left..i think...you come to a spot that has some sort of steel ramps running into a cliff. From there you can run up the little hill and run along against an invisible barrier. You will actually see the unfinished map parts from there. You can quite quickly get onto the other side and into uncharted land.

Sounds like the perfect thing to report in a beta test! Hmmm. I may go have a look at that! Without jumping off the map, of course.... I hope.

Hail Shipmates,
I looked over the site and started downloading the game to give it a test spin. Appears to be a pretty standard MMORPG with an interesting story line. Do we have a clan goin on here? Just wondering if there will be anyone to hook up with when I get it loaded up.

Got a level one all the way to the cargo hold and prison yard last night.

Jezz, bitoret is slooow. Looks like another hour. Will name my toon seabeast and be on most of the pm if anyone wants to yell for me, please do. I surely be lost.

Is there a certain server you all on or is it all one?

There are two servers, Valdes (the first one) and Lintra (added a couple days later). I have a character on each.

Hephaesta is a level 24 Defender on Valdes server.

Ennui is a level 9 (still temperian but working on the levelling quest to get her first job, which will be Rogue) on Lintra.
