Default Age of Conan - anyone playing it?

I got it yesterday and started a character on a supposedly "Oceanic preferred" server, Gwahlur.

It's a barbarian, name Tigerclaw.

Anyone playing it? TOG guild?

Yes, I'm playing it and really enjoying it for anyone who is interested. I've played a lot of MMORPG's in the past and so far (I'm only level 7), the game is very good. I have dual core, operating system of Windows Vista and at first the game was running choppy. But, for those of you who have Windows Vista, I checked my upgrades and installed a few of those including the SP1, adjusted some of my settings under the Options in-game, and now it runs very smooth. I'm not on a pvp server yet. I tried starting out on that and decided I wanted to be able to concentrate on the game itself for awhile without that added yet, and so I rolled a Dark Templar on Hyperborea (RP-PvE). I love to quest and I've found the quests excellent, the story line is probably the best I've ever seen in a MMORPG. The graphics are awesome. The UI needs a little work. The friends list, I don't like at all nor the grey text that you cannot change the color of in the chat windows (I'm sure they will change this eventually). They have a map system that is nice. They have quest follower also showing the quests that you've completed, a nice feature. Hope this helps a little, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it and would love to know if any guilds get started. . .

I am also playing it on Gwahlur, I have a Dark Templar and it is pretty nice, love the maps and the beginning story line is pretty cool. Graphics are smoking hot, on your kids game, hard core killing sequences, and nice effects. The part I like are the real combos and blocking, its something to try anyway, its worth the greens. My characters name is Zpire maybe I will see you there...

I would say that in regards to TOG members playing AoC I estimate it at around 500+ over the servers we are active in.

At present...and i have cut & pasted this from our TOG AoC forums. You would have to be cleared thru our Barracks forum first before our AoC one is accessable to you though.

regards,
B

US servers

PVE: Gwahlur (recommended Oceanic) - ive noticed over 200 here already and more incoming

PVP: Bloodspire (recommended Oceanic) - ive noticed a small but growing contingent here

EU English - i cannot speak for these ones since i have the USA client...but if our AoC Euro forum is anything to go by they have a healthy contingent there as well

PVP: Wildsoul

PVE: Dagon
