9 out of 10.
1. I've never seen a MMO look this good, even on my relatively weak computer.
2. Fatalities. (They never get old). And the very real sense that you are in a mature setting. I'm not talking about nipples. I'm talking mood, atmosphere, quest content and subject matter. This is not your average G-rated fantasy world.
3. I like the new combat system. Some people will argue it's not revolutionary. No, it's not Wii-operated. But it is a step forward.
Things I don't like:
1. The UI can be improved. Thankfully there are a couple UI mods available, and FC already made some changes themselves. It still does not have the diversity or flexibilty of, say, WoW... but that will get better over time.
2. Night-time. I had to adjust my gamma -- can't see a damn thing in Cimmeria when it's dark. I walked off the edge of a cliff cause I couldn't see the road in front of me... (the ruggedness of the terrain is cool though -- lots of elevation... and climbing! I forgot the really cool climbing feature. Nice touch, that).
3. It's instance heavy. Not unbearably (for me), but more than I am used to. I guess it's the price you have to pay for top of the line graphics.
Anyways, if you're not sure about the game, don't get it. Wait a while and try it later. They still have some bugs to sort out.
